Our Courses

Whether you are a company looking to formally train first aiders, or a parent wanting a 'mini course' to learn life-saving skills, First Aid Cymru can provide you with what you need.

All courses are delivered by a Registered Nurse with 10 years experience in the NHS, and over 7 years in Intensive Care, as well as being a formally trained teacher in the process of achieving a PGCE. Read more about First Aid Cymru here.

Emergency First Aid at Work
(1 day)

- Emergency First Aid at Work (EFAW) qualification

- Valid for 3 years

- Satisfies requirements set by Health & Safety Executive (HSE) for workplace First Aiders

First Aid at Work
(3 days)

- First Aid at Work (FAW) qualification

- Valid for 3 years

- Satisfies requirements set by Health & Safety Executive (HSE) for workplace First Aiders in high risk environments

First Aid at Work - Refresher
(2 day)

- First Aid at Work (EFAW) qualification

- Valid for 3 years

- Satisfies requirements set by Health & Safety Executive (HSE) for workplace First Aiders

Emergency Paediatric First Aid
(1 day)

- Level 3 Emergency Paediatric First Aid qualification

- Valid for 3 years

- For both work & home environments

- Note: If you are a childminder or teacher, this course will not fulfil the EYFS requirement. You need the 2 day course.

Paediatric First Aid
(2 days)

- Early Years Foundation Stage compliant Paediatric First Aid qualification

- Valid for 3 years

- Appropriate for teachers, childminders and other childcare providers.
